Haley Sawyers

I grew up on a farm outside of Odessa, Nebraska where I was actively involved in 4-H and sports. I attended both undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have had the privilege of being the 7/8th grade math teacher for the past 8 years at Central City Public Schools. My husband, Mitch, and I enjoy playing golf and being active with our kids. We have two boys, Baylor (2) and Boone (1), that keep us busy and on our toes.

I am excited to be apart of the Chamber of Commerce board and to be able to give back to the community that has given so much to me. My organizational skills and enthusiasm for continuing growth within the community will be valuable in this role.

Favorite thing about the Central City Community:
My favorite thing about Central City is the community members. When I moved to Central City I didn’t know anyone, but was welcomed into the community with open arms. The people of this community are always willing to help where needed and celebrate each other’s success.
